wherewolves.net | a place for art, film, music, photography, life

a perfect game for tera melos

if you didn’t go to Homestead Lanes Bowling Alley in Cupertino a few nights ago, then you definitely didn’t notice the big noise coming from the bar area. That was where some noisy three piece band made a big racket and all the high school punkers went nuts. well, thats not who we were there to see.
once Tera Melos came on stage, then the show got more interesting and i could ignore the unusual feeling of being surrounded by tweens and teens.

the Start of a new year

This isn’t a hoax this is alittle ridiculous this is f’real noise this is sloooow trucks, and I don’t mean the kind you see in traffic. They’re gonna make you scream and they sound so clean like a long night or a car crash. Trucks reared themselves into Sub Mission the day after new years and my, what a good way to put the decade into ignition. I also have to add- the chick drummer was sassy. Enjoy.

The Beehive Spirit

I lost my car, I spent about 45 min after the show trying to keep myself between my guitar and the pouring rain as i walked up and down the streets of North Beach looking for it. I gave up, and was lured in to a place called “The Church Key” with the promise of a free drink. I took a seat at the bar between some hippy chick who went on and on about how she hates l.a. but loves the 60’s and a jewish guy playing T-Rex songs on a Martin DM. I sat there until about an hour after closing, had a few beers and talked with the bar tender till i decided i was finally drunk enough to locate the benz.
As for The Beehive Spirit, lets just say it rocked hard enough to make me forget where i parked my car. And im pretty sure the only other time that has happened was after Coachella.
Thanks guys.
