///BONUS—> 35 MM Scans///
that link will bring you to the gallery of some 35mm negatives i scanned super-ghetto-style with my iphone and a normal shitty scanner. whadyaknow, it works…
it was hot, it was stuffy, the room was more packed than a fiend’s smokes and everyone was happy. one hell of a show hosted by the residents of storey.
too bad i missed all of the first bands. i did manage to make it on time for a banging set by Poison Diamond front man and his new lady vocalist.
special thank you to ken for taking photos that night so as i didnt have to juggle cameras.

if you didn’t go to Homestead Lanes Bowling Alley in Cupertino a few nights ago, then you definitely didn’t notice the big noise coming from the bar area. That was where a noisy three piece band called All Leather making a big racket causing all the high school punkers to go nuts.
well, thats not who we were there to see.
once Tera Melos came on stage, i could ignore the unusual feeling of being surrounded by tweens and teens.
///SUPER BONUS///

Now, why would there be nearly 303,000 page results on that? As I am half-Chinese [im really black-inese] i felt like too many people hate on us Chinese. You know we’re going to take over the world soon right? We already are more than half the worlds population and nearly all of our home appliances and products are made by us. Well, not ‘us’ as in ‘me’, but ‘us’ as in ‘my azn brothas [and sistas] from otha mothas.’ ya know… but srsly, this h8 bullshit should just stop. or hell, pin all ur h8 on the jewz….
for yalls who don’t know these guys, well, i recommend you get in the know because this guys will seriously be controlling your daily radio programing soon. with a few releases already for their 6 track EP [available on cassette too so you know these guys are legit indie kids] they have left a huge mark at any venue they’ve performed at with their pumping bangers that just wont let you stand still. then again, why would you want to do that? its like going to see a movie and trying to sleep, right? well, not really, its some what of the inverse to that, so sorry, bad comparison. but srsly, it was love at first show.
you might remember them from Nuclear Winter if you’ve been keeping up with us, but if not, then let me tell you that the night of Nuclear Winter 2k8, when i saw Bro Montana start their show, i literally shat myself. check out the pics:
these guys got it rockin and got it rocking fast. one thing that makes me love them even more [besides that i secretly want to nail sad dad gone bad] is their cover/remix of videotapes by radiohead. so epic. planning on making a movie for them.

it would appear that the overall impression people have about santa cruz is that its a drug inspired culture with a large college population. well, it is for the most part but, they are a lot more zany than just getting stoned and dreading their hair. the college like is pretty nutty here. but it took me a while to find out just how out going these new contributions to the college community were.
it started off with a stroll with my two awesome friends across downtown and the lil river that runs through it to the park we were to meet up with this zany bunch. they were playing hide and go seek. but since the group was so large they decided we should all play sardines instead. this game was actually pretty funnie. one person would hide and teh rest of the group would go look for them. once someone found them they would laydown and hide next to them until the rest of the group all caught on and hid with them. the last person to find the group would be the “it” person and be the one to hide in the next game. i have to say it was soooo fun.
<3 sardines [the game].
wanna play it again.
after a bit this zany crew decided to chill on the play ground. someone found a scooter around the park and good ol’ ‘Missingtoof Mike’ [of missingtoof.com that is] went all nutty bombing the slides with that thing. crazy mofo. ne way, frank also got inspired to join in on the extreme slide-bombing. and we have an amazing photo of him flying through the air. but. he nailed mike who was taking the photo and we are left with this:
ne way. bet ur all bored of my interesting night. it was just so zany having experienced sardines, vegan food, and hookah all in one night. hope u all get to experience something as zany as this.
